The Chanel CC Cream Complete Correction SPF 50 (20 Beige) review I’m going to do today wouldn’t surprise you for the most part because this color correcting cream may be known for its dewy, radiant finish and great coverage but I bet some of you didn’t know it could replace your under eye concealer as well.
Chanel CC Cream (20 Beige) Review
The Chanel cc cream I’m using is in the shade 20 Beige which caters to light to medium skin tones. The shade range starts from a 10 (fair), 20 (fair to medium), 30 (medium to tan), and lastly, to shade 40 (tan). CC creams typically do not need a ton of shades since they’re made to correct a broader category of skin tones rather than tailor-made to match certain specific skin tones. Chanel has marketed their cc cream as a “complete corrector” with the abilities to conceal blemishes, pores, redness, dark spots, etc, and I’m here to attest to these claims as far as colour correcting and concealing abilities are concerned. The following before and after photos taken were with just the Chanel CC Cream in shade 20 Beige used alone without any other makeup products on my face.
Texture
This cc cream applies like a thin film, leaving you enough wetness to work around the skin before finally drying to a lightly powdered veil. The after feel is superb; it feels extremely light, non-cakey, non-tacky, non-drying.
Coverage
It gives sheer coverage buildable up to a medium. You may see how buildable this cc cream is in my quick demo video below.
Scent
The Chanel CC Cream carries the same powdery, feminine scent that most Chanel skincare carries – a whiff of a fresh, rosey trace one’ll get to enjoy each time the product is layered on the skin.
Chanel CC Cream Correction Complete with SPF 50 skincare Review
The Chanel CC Cream Complete Correction colour correcting cream, like most color correctors, serves as a concealing makeup, whether it is worn as a base or alone. But this Chanel CC Cream is also a skincare product; not just because it contains SPF50 with sun protection skin benefits, but also it aims to correct signs of aging and and enhances skin texture over prolonged use with their new generation hyaluronic acid formula that claimed to visibly reduce wrinkles and fine lines by 20% over a month application, making the skin look replumped and smoother.
Chanel: Best CC Cream for dark eye circles
This Chanel product is by far the best CC Cream for my dark eye dark circles. My YouTube channel has garnered viral views largely due to my video tutorials on how to get rid of my severe puffy eye bags and under eye dark circles, so you must know that whenever a product is able to conceal those sluggish features of mine I’d say go for it; more so if it does the job in half of the time.
Because the best part about using this cc cream for my puffy eye bags and dark circles is that you don’t need to blend it down much unlike concealers; all you need to do is to apply it just as you would for a tinted sunscreen, and then wait for it to take a couple of minutes for the colour correcting to work its magic. Watch my video above till the end and you will see what I mean.
If you’re looking for a light coverage formula that is long lasting, non-caking and non-oxidizing and does the job quite fuss-freely, The Chanel CC Cream Complete Correction SPF 50 is for you. It retails at SGD$90 for 30ml at Singapore Chanel cosmetic counters.
