The Oscar Blandi dry shampoo comes in the form of a spray can cylinder with a double-walled plastic translucent cap that when opened, unveils a spray nozzle.

As with all flammable items, you may want to carefully stow this spray can away from heated surfaces or places where there are fire sparks, or even smokers. Store it in a cool, dry area.

Fragrance

Does not smell heavily perfumed like most hair spraying products. It gives your hair a natural gardenlike-fresh scent.

Spray and Product Consistency

Each press of the nozzle gives a high pressured jet of the product which sprays on clear. The nozzle head is made pliable so your index finger could press on it as flexibly and comfortably as you want. It gives great control on the length of each spray, which gives a cooling sensation.

This product assures that there will not be any white residue (dandruff-like flakes) left on the hair after spraying. This is true both before and after running through the hair with the hands to fluff them up. The hair does not feel tacky or sticky as the product is very light-weight and airy.

How to Use Dry Shampoo

We recommend sectioning your hair into two vertical halves, then separate each of these 2 halves into 3 more sections. Shake the can well and hold it about 10cm away from your hair and spray short jets into the roots of each parting of the sections. Leave the product to be absorbed by your hair and scalp for about 20 seconds before running through with your fingers to distribute the product as well as to fluff it out to introduce some air for volume.

Comb and style your hair as usual.

Finally, spray a few times to the front roots where your fringe begins, the top crown of your hair, and the bottom most part of your hair near your nape to give the hairstyle that extra lift.

Vitamin E – an excellent antioxidant that not only benefits stressed scalp and skin by calming sensitive scalp due to its anti-inflammatory properties, but also strengthens weak hair follicles and hydrates and moisturizes dry and brittle hair.

Natural and gentle starches – to absorb excess oil and build up from the scalp so the hair shafts are kept grease-free and the scalp is brought back to its normal PH level.

Wheat Proteins – known for their hair strengthening and protective properties, wheat proteins are humectants that help retain hair moisture in the hair shafts. They also enhance hair flexibility in preventing hair breakages and brittleness as well as condition the hair strands, allowing nutrients to penetrate and nourish them easier.

Verdict:

We can go without washing and shampooing our hair for 2 days in a row maximum when we use this product. During these two days, our hair remains smooth and shine-free as the dry shampoo does a good job in absorbing the oil from our scalps and hair. Washing of hair is required by the 3rd day as they start to get greasy.

The Oscar Blandi dry shampoo definitely gives substantial value to my otherwise thin hair, and makes styling fairly easy as well since the dry shampoo gives good hold and structure to the hair. Hair handling is fuss-free, and there is good grip when it comes to clipping or tying hair.

The gardenlike fresh scent is an absolute bonus we could not resist sniffing our own hair!
