I don’t know why I took this long to do the Su:m37 Secret Essence review since I’ve already gone through like, my 3rd bottle. But what I’m going to explain next about the technology behind this naturally fermented facial essence is pretty mind–blowing.

The Sum37 Secret Essence comes in this champagne bottle shaped frosted glass canister topped with the most elegant cap ever. I like that the cap comes in gold and a red emblem atop ; feels weighty, and screws in quite a fair distance down. Together with the wide base of the bottle, the packaging is not only sturdy but sits beautifully on the vanity without you ever fearing that it might topple over.

Texture & Scent

The Su:m37 Secret Essence feels slightly thicker than most essences that I’ve tried, almost serum-like, but has a much silkier texture to it. There’s not much scent to it but as you apply the product and sniff it closer it gives a herbaceous lemony hint which is always nice to take in.

Sum37 Best Secret? Korean Skincare with Natural Fermentation Technology

This is the part where the Sum37 ‘best secret’ becomes not much of a secret after all because it makes too much sense. Sometime back, I was in this meeting with a company called Natural World (though not Korean skincare) who manufacture their signature facial treatment water QP Optima using quantum transformation technology – a process under which environmental and climatic conditions such as temperatures, prevailing winds, air pressures, etc, are kept under absolute control for a long period of time in order for the water molecules to be delivering stable energy for the skin. They’d taken the inspiration from crystal making; where under constant condition, thousands of crystals of identical geometrics and qualities are formed.

As for fermentation, it is a metabolic process in which enzymes accelerates the growth of good bacteria, which happens to be a great anti-aging ingredient. S:um37: Best Facial Treatment Essence for Aging Skin

The thing about fermented skincare is that they work well into the advanced age of your skin. While most products tend to lose its potency over time, fermented skincare seems to be working better with time and this yields the best result for mature and aging skin. This is also the reason why I remain an SKII fan (in the case with their Facial Treatment Essence – Pitera^TM fermented yeast extract) until now; from my early twenties right up to my present age of 40 years. I’ve gone through 3 bottles of the S:um37 Secret Essence over a course of 2 years now, I want to say, you’ve got to be a little patient with this one. This is me when I review skincare products typically, I don’t serve the product a sentence without first giving it the test of time. As with my last video about my face wash routine for my oily to combination skin, my skin changed from combination to oily type into my late 30s (although now I’ve worked around in keeping breakouts and extreme shine at bay), the Sum37 Secret Essence did really stand by me as my skin decided to morph from one type to another. On combination days, it hydrated my dry areas from my temples down and evens out my skin tone. On my later oily days, it regulates over-production of sebum and reduces my flares and acne breakouts. Only when I’m onto my second bottle did I realize it had some plumping effect on my skin too. The first bottle hydrates my skin at best.

The S:um37 Secret Essence is one such product I’d love to use well into my old age because the longer you use it for, the better the result it delivers.
